What counts as a "seat"?

Every person on your team takes one seat — owner, dispatcher, W-2 driver, or 1099 contractor. There are two seat types: Team ($69/user/mo) for owners, dispatchers, and W-2 employees; Contractor ($89/user/mo) for 1099 drivers, which adds GPS-based mileage tracking, contractor pay, and 1099 pay statements. You can mix and match.

Is MileMedic HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. Chain-of-custody is the core of the product. We sign a BAA with every paying customer, encrypt data in transit and at rest (256-bit AES), and run audit-ready custody logs on every pickup.

Can I switch from spreadsheets or paper without retraining my drivers?

Yes. The driver app is built around three taps: pickup, drop, done. Most drivers are productive in under 10 minutes. We'll help you import your existing client list, routes, and driver list during onboarding.

What if my drivers don't have smartphones, or work in dead zones?

The driver app works offline — it queues stops, scans, photos, and signatures locally and syncs as soon as signal returns. It's also battery-efficient (most drivers finish a 10-hour shift on under 30%).

Yes — that's what the Contractor seat is for. Each 1099 driver gets a Contractor seat ($89/user/mo) which adds GPS-based mileage logs (IRS-ready), per-stop or per-mile pay rate tracking, and pay statements ready for export to your bookkeeper. Mix freely with Team seats — most fleets do.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export everything — stops, custody logs, driver records, client list — as CSV or PDF at any time. We retain canceled-account data for 30 days then permanently delete it. We never sell or share your data.
